Photogrammetry
Aerial and terrestrial photogrammetry — 3D models, orthophoto maps and digital terrain models.
Photogrammetry — photos turned into 3D
Photogrammetry is the science and art of extracting accurate 3D information from photographs. Using multiple overlapping images captured by drone or terrestrial camera, a specialised mathematical algorithm reconstructs the shape, dimensions and colour of objects with high geometric accuracy.
Our photogrammetric services
- Orthophoto maps — georeferenced orthophoto maps suitable for GIS and mapping;
- Digital Terrain Model (DTM) — accurate representation of the ground surface without vegetation or buildings;
- Digital Surface Model (DSM) — model including buildings, trees and all above-ground objects;
- 3D mesh models — photorealistic textured 3D objects for architecture, visualisation and BIM;
- Volume calculations — precise volumes of stockpiles, quarries and excavations;
- Terrestrial photogrammetry — capture of facades, monuments and small objects.
Accuracy and equipment
We use UAVs with RTK positioning for direct georeferencing without ground control points. Horizontal accuracy of ±3–5 cm at 100 m flight altitude. Data are processed by our team with many years of experience in photogrammetry.
Integration with GIS and BIM
Photogrammetric products are directly compatible with our GIS services — orthophotos can be visualised directly in QGIS or ArcGIS. 3D mesh models are used in the BIM process, and for agricultural applications in digital agriculture.
