BIM is a process of intelligent 3D modelling where every element of a building carries information — material, dimensions, manufacturer, function. The result is a digital twin of the physical object, used for design, construction and asset management.

Scan-to-BIM: from laser beam to BIM model

MAP.ING specialises in the Scan-to-BIM process — scanning existing buildings with a laser scanner and converting the point cloud into a complete BIM model. This is invaluable for:
